Does it support futsal and youth football?
Yes. Alongside the full pitch you get a futsal court (40×20 m) with proper futsal markings, a 5v5 grass pitch (40×30 m), and 7v7 and 9v9 youth pitches with correctly scaled penalty areas.
How do I present a tactic to my players?
Presentation mode hides every tool, goes fullscreen and gives you big next/previous controls to step through the phases on a TV — the arrow keys work too. The 3D stadium view with broadcast cameras makes it feel like a real match scene.
Can I upload match video and analyse it on the board?
No. The tactical board is a drawing and animation tool, not a video-analysis platform: it does not accept match footage, cannot telestrate over clips, and does not cut scenes or tag events. Movement is built by hand across frames where you set the players' positions, and the result is exported as video — video comes out of the board, never into it.
So how do I bring a real match moment onto the board?
You rebuild it rather than extract it: import the real starting XI from the match library, or import a frozen shot moment from StatsBomb open data with the players' positions at the instant of the shot, then move the players into the situation you want to explain. You get an accurate hand-built tactical scene, not automated video tracking.
Does the board produce statistics, heat maps or metrics such as xG?
No. The board calculates no performance metrics — no passes, possession, distances, heat maps or xG. Everything imported from external sources is lineups and player positions used as a starting point for drawing, not an analytical report.
Does it connect to GPS trackers or load-monitoring platforms?
No. There is no integration with tracking devices, watches or load-monitoring systems. The training-load field in the session plan is a value you type yourself to document the drill inside the PDF, not a measurement pulled from a device.
Can several coaches edit the same board at the same time?
No. There is no live co-editing. A share link opens the board read-only with playback, and anyone who wants to change it saves their own copy and works on that.
Does it replace a team-management system?
No. The board has no attendance register, player evaluations, injury records, training schedule or parent messaging. Saved squads, drills and personal templates also live in the browser of the device that created them and do not sync across devices — whereas boards saved with your email can be recovered anywhere.
Does it support sports other than football?
No. The available pitches are football-family only: full pitch, half, final third, penalty box, futsal court, 5v5 / 7v7 / 9v9 youth pitches, plus a blank grid for free drawing. There are no basketball, handball, hockey or other sport surfaces.
Is there an app I can install on my phone or computer?
No. The board runs in the browser only — there is no App Store or Google Play app and nothing to install on a computer. You open the link and start working, with no download and no updates to manage; the trade-off is that it needs an internet connection, so there is no offline mode. You can add the page to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app, but that is a browser shortcut, not an installed application.
