Psychological Intervention Techniques
This course addresses psychological-intervention techniques in sport as an integrated workflow from assessment to application, across four integrated units. It holds that effective psychological intervention starts not with technique but with observation and assessment, then builds on a clear seasonal plan, is delivered through proven techniques, and is continuously monitored and measured — moving the specialist and coach from random reactions to systematic, measurable intervention. The units progress from the foundations of intervention and planning, to psychological assessment, to cognitive techniques and self-talk, and finally arousal regulation and mental imagery — with specialized references (Buceta, CBAS, Ellis & Beck, PETTLEP), practical tools and real examples.
