Through key areas such as Planning, Methodology, Offensive and Defensive Basic Fundamentals, and Game Model development, you will learn how to identify what young players need to understand, what concepts coaches must correct on the pitch, and how to design training contexts that help players perceive, decide, and execute better. By the end of the course, you will have a structured framework to plan the initiation stage, design age-appropriate training sessions, and develop smarter players who understand the game. At Ekkono, we have spent more than 20 years helping clubs, academies, and federations around the world develop smarter players through a methodology based on perception, decision-making, and game understanding. This course brings that methodology into the initiation stage, from U6 to U13. Across 13 live sessions of 90 minutes, plus an introductory Session 0, you will learn how to plan the full initiation stage, design age-appropriate training exercises, and coach the key concepts behind the Basic Fundamentals — including the Perception Block, the Coordinative Block, and the Offensive and Defensive Team Fundamentals adapted to the initiation stage. This course is suitable for any coach working with U6–U13 players, and also for older age groups when the players' level is lower — making it applicable to anyone working at academy level.
