Perception skills are the foundation for developing smart players. Consistent, high-quality decision-making is impossible without first scanning the situation and gathering as much information as possible before acting. In this course, we will teach you the key perception concepts that should be trained with players from the earliest stages of development through to adulthood. Perception is not only about turning your head or having a good body orientation. It is also HOW to look, WHEN to look and WHAT to look for. This course will explore these concepts in detail for both the offensive and defensive phases of the game, while also dividing them by age group so you know when to introduce each concept to your players. We will combine theory with numerous examples of Ekkono training exercises that you can apply directly with your team to enhance their perception skills. By the end of the course, you will have a clear understanding of the most important perception concepts and how to teach them effectively, helping your players become smarter and more complete footballers.
