How the test is built

Built on professional references

The questions are written from 60+ professional football references in several languages: coaching manuals, federation youth programmes, tactical analyses, sports-science texts and the Laws of the Game 2025/26. Every question is linked to the page it is based on.

Every question is classified four ways

Each question is tagged by topic and subtopic, by the coaching competency it measures, by the type of knowledge it needs (factual, conceptual, procedural or metacognitive) and by its thinking level on the revised Bloom's taxonomy (remember, understand, apply, analyse).

A fresh, balanced test every time

Each attempt draws 50 new questions at random, balanced on topic, competency, question type, difficulty and thinking level. No two tests are the same, and every test is equally fair.

Wrong answers are designed, not random

Each wrong option reflects a real misconception or a partly correct idea that coaches often hold, so the test shows exactly where your understanding breaks down.

Scoring you can trust

True/false and single-answer questions are all or nothing. Select-all questions give partial credit: correct choices minus wrong ones, never below zero, so guessing does not pay.

Timed to the questions

The 45-minute limit is set from the expected reading and thinking time of the questions at this level. The timer starts when you begin and cannot be paused.

Your results report

• Overall score and result: Your score out of 100 and whether you reached the 70% pass mark.
• Score by topic: How you did in tactics, technique, training methodology, physical preparation and the other topics.
• Score by competency: Your level in each coaching competency, so you know which part of the job to work on.
• Thinking and knowledge profile: How you do on recall, understanding, application and analysis questions, and on each type of knowledge.
• Review of your mistakes: Each question you missed, with an explanation of why your choice was not right. The correct answers are not shown, so the test stays fair for everyone.
• Misconceptions to fix: The coaching misconceptions your wrong answers point to, so you know what to revisit.

Certificate and accreditation

• Issued by Champions Hub: The certificate shows your name, the level you passed and the date, and you can download it as a PDF.
• Verifiable by anyone: Each certificate has a unique number, a QR code and a public verification link that a club, academy or employer can check in seconds.
• Valid for 24 months: It stays valid for 24 months. Move up to the next level, or take a new attempt to renew it.
• Proof of your level: Add it to your CV and your LinkedIn profile as independent evidence of your coaching knowledge at this level.

How many attempts do I get?

One purchase gives you one attempt. You can buy another attempt at any time, and it will have different questions.

Is the test in Arabic or English?

Every question, option and explanation is available in both Arabic and English.

Do I have to pass Level 1 before Level 2?

No. You can take any level. We recommend the order 1, 2, 3 if you are unsure which one suits you.

What happens if I do not pass?

You still get the full report with your scores by topic and competency and a review of your mistakes, so you know what to work on before your next attempt.

Can I pause the test?

No. Once you start, you have 45 minutes to answer 50 questions, so start when you have that time free.

Will I see the same questions as other coaches?

Each attempt is drawn at random from a large bank using the same balance rules, so tests are equally fair but rarely share questions.
